Honest business consulting that fixes what's actually broken

Most owners already know something is off. Revenue plateaus, margins thin out, staff churn climbs. We find the specific cause, build a plan around it, and stay until the numbers move. Based in Hesselridge, working across Northern Ireland and beyond.

How an engagement works

Week 1: the diagnostic

We spend three days inside your operation. Not in a boardroom, but on the floor: watching workflows, reading P&L detail, interviewing key staff. By Friday you get a written diagnostic that names the two or three things costing you the most money right now.

Weeks 2–3: the plan

We draft an action plan with specific targets, owners, and deadlines. No 80-page slide deck. Typically it fits on four pages and every line has a number attached to it.

Weeks 4–8: execution support

Our consultant joins your weekly rhythm: attending stand-ups, reviewing KPI dashboards, coaching managers through the changes. If something isn't working, we adjust mid-stride rather than waiting for a quarterly review.

Month 3 onward: measured handover

We step back gradually. You keep the dashboards, the playbooks, and direct access to your lead consultant for 90 days after formal close. The goal is that you never need us for the same problem twice.

What we actually do

Profit diagnostics

We pull apart your revenue streams and cost centres line by line. Most clients discover that 15–30% of their costs sit in just two or three fixable areas. The diagnostic report is yours to keep whether or not you hire us for the next phase.

Operational restructuring

Roles overlap, handoffs stall, middle management swells. We redesign your org chart and workflows around what the business actually needs to deliver. Typical result: fewer meetings, clearer ownership, faster throughput.

Growth strategy

Expansion without a financial model is just optimism. We build scenario plans for new markets, product lines, or acquisitions, stress-tested against your cash position and capacity. You see the upside and the risk before you commit a pound.

KPI dashboards and reporting

Spreadsheets updated once a month tell you what already happened. We set up live dashboards tied to your accounting, CRM, and ops tools so you spot a dip the week it starts, not the quarter it ends.

Cash-flow planning

Profitable on paper but tight on cash? We build 13-week rolling forecasts so you can see exactly when gaps will appear and plan for them before they become crises. Particularly useful for seasonal or project-based businesses.

Common questions

The initial diagnostic call is free. If you want us on-site for the full three-day deep dive, the fee starts at £2,400 plus travel. That covers the written report and a 90-minute debrief session.

Yes. About a third of our clients are in England or Scotland. For businesses further afield, we handle the diagnostic remotely and fly in for execution-support weeks. Travel costs are quoted upfront so there are no surprises.

Our sweet spot is owner-managed businesses with £1m–£20m turnover and 10–150 staff. Large enough to have real complexity, small enough that changes show up in the numbers within weeks rather than quarters.

No. We work alongside them. Your accountant handles compliance and tax. We handle operational performance. The two roles overlap very little, and we share data openly so everyone is working from the same figures.

Typically within two weeks of the initial call. We keep our active client list capped at twelve engagements so that each one gets proper attention. If we are at capacity, we will tell you honestly and give you a start date.
